This was not me.

I've gotten a little tipsy at the airport, but this woman really took pre-flight intoxication to a new level.  She spits, she bites, she misses her flight.

Best part: The image comes from the Star Tribune and is called "Bite 1."

If you're going to San Francisco. . .

Be sure to wear flowers in your hair.  Okay.  I will.  I'm headed tomorrow to one of my favorite cities in the US, San Francisco.  If I couldn't live in Minneapolis, and had a lot more money, I would live in San Fran.  The weather is great.  The city is beautiful.  Shopping and eating (two things that are very important to me) are top-notch.  Napa, Sonoma, and the Russian River, with their vineyards and wineries, are not far.  And there is a wonderful active, outdoorsy lifestyle seemly built in to living there.  Thankfully we have more friends and family living in SF than we could see in two weeks time.  Great for trips and vacations.

Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Every year Chicago celebrates St. Patrick's Day by dying the Chicago River green. This blows my mind. How can something so stunningly bright be environmentally friendly? Who knows? Anywho - it looks super cool. Here is a great video about how they do it, as well as some stunningly bright images.

In the Arch.

The New York Times Urban Gardner offers a wonderful peek inside one of NYC's more notable public structures: The Washington Arch.

Success!

My husband and I have always joked around about how funny it would be to go through airport security and when asked to pull out your 3-1-1 liquid carry-on baggy, your baggy contains only small nips of alcohol.  Well, I guess we can check that one off the good ol' bucket list.  Mission accomplished.  The hubby's liquids bag contained assorted  mini vodkas as well as a lovely collection of Bailys minis.  The aforementioned booty came in handy during our flight from Denver to Minneapolis(t).

I sort of feel like this happens more than we are aware of.  The TSA agents didn't even blink.  No giggle.  No search.  No witty commentary.  Oh well.

Coachella. I wanna go.

I want to go to this so bad it hurts. Why does it have to be in CA?  And why is it so darn expensive for me to get there?  Arrgh.
